GLUG is a community of like-minded folks from around Gauteng (and sometimes other parts of South Africa) who are all involved with Linux and other Open Source Software. We are developers, sysadmins and other users.
One of the ways our community chats is via our mailing lists. These are e-mail-based communications that go out to a wide range of people from all across Gauteng.
We also tend to have a more interactive bunch of folks in our IRC Channel. IRC is used to socialise, discuss open source software, and help each other out.
